TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD (“TechPark”) places importance on the security of its customers’ personal information and online payment transactions. This Security Policy explains the information security and payment security measures applied on techparkcyprus.com.

For the purposes of this policy, the terms “TechPark”, “we”, “us” or the “Company” refer to TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD.

1. Website Security

Up-to-date security standards and HTTPS/SSL/TLS technologies are used to protect data transmitted through the TechPark website.

2. Payment Security

Payments made by credit or debit card are processed through the secure virtual POS infrastructure of a bank or authorised payment service provider contracted by TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD.

TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD does not store customers’ credit or debit card information within its own systems.

Card details entered during payment are processed directly through the secure payment infrastructure of the relevant bank or payment service provider solely for the purpose of completing the payment transaction.

Where required, 3D Secure or similar additional authentication methods may be applied by the relevant bank during the payment process.

One-time passwords or other authentication details requested from the customer during the 3D Secure verification process are managed by the relevant bank. Such information is neither viewed nor stored by TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD.

3. Non-Storage of Card Information

TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD does not store the following customer information in its systems:

  • Credit or debit card number,

  • Card CVV/CVC security code,

  • Card expiry date,

  • 3D Secure authentication passwords,

  • One-time verification codes sent by the bank.

This information is processed solely through the secure systems of the relevant bank or authorised payment service provider for the purpose of completing the payment transaction.

TechPark systems may retain only transaction-related records that may be necessary for managing orders and payments, such as:

  • Order number,

  • Payment status,

  • Transaction date,

  • Amount paid,

  • Transaction or reference number generated by the bank or payment service provider.

These records do not contain the customer’s full card information.

4. Security of Personal Data

TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD implements appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against:

  • Unauthorised access,

  • Loss,

  • Alteration,

  • Unauthorised disclosure,

  • Misuse, and

  • Unlawful processing.

These measures may be updated when necessary, taking into account the nature of the data processed, the systems used, technological developments and current security risks.

5. Access Authorisation

Access to customer, order and transaction information is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers who require such information as part of their duties.

System access permissions may be managed through user roles, authentication methods, access controls and other necessary security measures.

Appropriate technical and administrative measures are implemented with the aim of preventing unauthorised persons from accessing customer and order information.

6. Payment Service Providers

Banks, virtual POS providers or other authorised financial institutions may be used to process payment transactions.

Card information is processed and payment transactions are carried out through the security infrastructure of the relevant bank or payment service provider.

These institutions process payment transactions in accordance with their own security standards, contractual terms and regulatory obligations.

TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD may retain only the transaction records necessary for order creation, payment verification, accounting, delivery, customer service and, where required, refund processing.

TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD does not record customers’ full card numbers, CVV/CVC information, card passwords or one-time authentication codes.

7. Fraud and Suspicious Transactions

TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD reserves the right to review payment or order transactions considered suspicious in order to protect both customers and the business.

Where necessary, the customer may be contacted to verify an order, or additional verification may be requested by the relevant bank or payment service provider.

Orders suspected of involving fraud, unauthorised card use, identity misuse or another security risk may be rejected or cancelled for security purposes.

8. User Security Responsibilities

Users are also expected to exercise appropriate care in order to help protect the security of online transactions.

Users are advised to:

  • Not share their card details with third parties,

  • Never disclose one-time passwords sent by their bank,

  • Avoid clicking links contained in suspicious emails, SMS messages or other messages,

  • Remain cautious of suspicious individuals or accounts requesting information on behalf of TechPark,

  • Take appropriate security precautions when making payments from shared or untrusted devices,

  • Log out after completing transactions on shared devices.

TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD will never ask customers to provide their CVV/CVC code, card PIN/password or one-time verification code sent by their bank through email, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp or any other messaging channel.

If such information is requested, users are advised not to share it and to contact TechPark directly.

9. Third-Party Systems

TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD may use third-party service providers for hosting, payment processing, shipping, email, analytics or other technical services.

Only the information necessary for the provision of the relevant service is shared with such service providers.

Third-party service providers are also expected to implement appropriate data and system security measures.

10. Security Incidents

If a suspected security breach, data loss or unauthorised access is identified, TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD will take the necessary steps to determine the scope of the incident, limit any existing risk and implement appropriate technical or administrative measures.

Where notification is legally required, affected individuals and competent authorities may be informed in accordance with applicable legislation.

11. No Absolute Security Guarantee

No method of data transmission over the internet or electronic data storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

TECHPARK INVESTMENTS LTD aims to implement appropriate and reasonable security measures in accordance with available technologies, service infrastructure and the nature of the risks involved, and to improve such measures where necessary.

12. Policy Updates

This Security Policy may be updated from time to time due to technological developments, changes in the payment infrastructure used, the introduction of new services or changes in applicable legislation.

The current version of the Security Policy becomes effective from the date it is published on techparkcyprus.com.
